Yangzhou Import & Export Toy Inspection Institute of China (YTII), subjected to General Adminstration of Quality Supervision And Quarantine of The People's Republic of China, was formally set up in 1990 as CHINA's first authoritative and professional testing laboratory for toys and children's products. Also YTII is the first state laboratory in China which obtained accreditation from HOKLAS with its registration NO.72. At the same time, it has been accredited by CCIBLAC.

In YTII, there is a professional inspection team who, with pround accomplishments, has fully mastered the techniques. Now 98 percent of the staffs are senior or intermediate technicians. YTII's spacious test rooms are equipped with hundreds pieces or sets of advanced testing equipments such as ICP-MS ICP GC-MS, HPLC, LC, GC, AA, and Electrostatic Discharge Simuloutor, which enables the laboratory to conduct efficiently the tests of about 800 items of toys and children's products'test, including those of 45 safety standards of the developed countries and regions all over the world. The test reports issued by YTII are widely recognized throughout the world. In the meanwhile, YTII also provides products inspection and factory quality system assessment services.

As an independent inspection institute, YTII has been persisting in the policy of impartiality and accuracy and acquired credit from domestic and foreign clients for its services of high quality efficiency and reasonable charges.
